Hi there, all ya´rockin´cats !
Here is a short story about our band ;
Freddie & The Seacruisers was formed in the late ´70s. The band was fast and furious and performed on several gigs between 1978-1980. During that period, the youth in Finland were strucked by an awesome boom -> Almost everyone wanted to rock, rock ,rock, to that good old beat from the ´50s ! Wow, what a chill....
Something happened and this boom faded slowly away... The original F&SC made the last and wast performance @ Linnanmäki -fairy, 31.5.1980. It was a tremendous feeling to perform on stage, in front of a huge public (2000-3000 persons). Well, it was "school out"-day !
Nevertheless, F&SC broke up as band he soon after that ! It took about 27 years (!) to reform the band. As you can see, we have been back in business since september 2007. The band today, has changed only at one point ! We´ve got a new man behind the bass.... and he is very good !
Watch and see ! Take also a look /listen to the stiff beat of our percussionist and those sizzling and roaring sounds a´la our leadguitarist ! Well, my job is to keep up the rhythm and.. sing...
